    Scholarship Programmes

In 2015 the Netherlands government provides over 650 Indonesians with a scholarship to continue their education in the Netherlands.
The scholarships are provided by the following two Dutch flagship programmes:
    • Studying in the Netherlands, StuNed, an exclusive programme between the Netherlands and Indonesia.
    • Netherlands Fellowship Programme, NFP, a programme available to 51 countries, including Indonesia.
The programmes aim to support the development of Indonesia through strengthening its human resources capacity and facilitating contacts between people and the institutions they represent from the Netherlands and Indonesia.
The beneficiaries of both programmes are mostly young professionals who work and/or study in the focus areas of the Netherlands government in Indonesia. The focus areas are water management, food security, security and rule of law (incl. human rights), investment climate (incl. finance, economics), health management and (agro-) logistics. Both scholarship programmes have Master’s Degree Programmes, Short Courses and Tailor Made Programmes. In addition, the Netherlands Fellowship Programme offers PhD-scholarships.
